My first GMK design, GMK Agent 01, will forever hold a special place in my heart. As someone who has been a gamer all my life, I wanted to create something that would resonate deeply with the gaming community. While the set features simple colors, it marked the beginning of an ambitious journey for us—a journey to push the boundaries of what’s possible in keycaps design. We took on the challenge of designing novelties that were far more intricate and detailed than anything that had been attempted before. I still remember the initial skepticism when our designs were first introduced; no one had seen such complexity in novelties before. But GMK exceeded all expectations, bringing our vision to life in the most extraordinary way.

Since then, every set we’ve released under SxM Designs has been an opportunity to innovate and challenge ourselves further. From GMK Pharaoh, with its ancient Egyptian motifs, to GMK Kitsune, inspired by the mythical foxes of Japanese folklore, we’ve continued to push the envelope with increasingly intricate designs. Each set is more detailed and unique than the last, reflecting our commitment to creating art that not only looks stunning but also brings something entirely new to the community.

We’ve come a long way from those early days with GMK Agent 01, and our passion for designing has only grown stronger. As SxM Designs, we are driven by the desire to create something truly special for every keyboard enthusiast out there, and we’re excited to continue this journey, crafting ever more intricate and beautiful designs for the future.

I wasn't initially aware of the vibrant mechanical keyboard community until my childhood friend and co-designer, Sayantan, introduced me to it. Together, we embarked on this creative journey, and our very first set, GMK Agent 01, holds a special place in our hearts. The entire process, from conceptualizing the design and selecting the perfect colors to figuring out how to bring our vision to life for the community, was both challenging and exhilarating.

I vividly remember the overwhelming excitement after posting our first Interest Check on Geekhack. We couldn’t sleep that night, constantly refreshing the page to read the feedback and comments. That moment of connection with the community was unforgettable.
While I cherish every design we've created, there are a few other sets that have particularly captured my admiration: GMK Awaken, GMK Hooty, KAM Li'l Dragon, KAM Superuser, GMK Symbiote, and SA Bliss. Each of these sets, along with our own, reflects the passion and creativity that make this community so extraordinary.
